BIOGRAPHY

Rob is the founder of the Alternative Championship but readily admits that the decision to recruit Crompo has borne satirical F1 gold and has lifted the AC to another dimension.

An avid mixer of metaphors, Rob is a firm believer that a rolling stone is worth two in the hand. Slightly shorter than the ageing, balding Crompo, Rob is married to the lovely Heather and is the father of some-time AC-HQ superstar, Lucky Lucy, a girl who still hasn't forgiven him for bestowing the moniker Lucy-Jazz Diamond Poppy upon her.

An occassional graphic designer, Rob runs the moderately successful Motorsport Gallery website and concedes that his only useful contribution to the AC-HQ is as the bearer of Crompo's full complement of insults. His favourite colour is still orange.

Glen is an Antipodean who should have paid more aten-shun while being taught to spell.

Slightly taller than his close friend Rob - the urban hippie - Margeit, he is lean, tanned and muscular with an enviable head of hair and a disturbing propensity for distorting reality to suit himself. He has recently become coy about his age but let's just say that he was born the year Jochen Rindt made his debut.

A decade of motocross in his youth proved that he was not a champion's bootlace. He's been discarded by the banking industry, rejected by the music industry and refused to comply with the photographic industry's demands that he start using colour film. He claims to be able to program computers but discussions with his clients suggest otherwise.

He has been a passionate fan of F1 since it became financially advantageous to be so. He currently collects his wages from a transport company, but nobody there is sure why. Upon learning that Glen is a Scottish word for a depression, he now insists on being called Crompo.
