When the promoters at the Paul Ricard High Tech Test Track issued a press release on Saturday afternoon, 13:37 to be precise, it was to lead to some red faces, and, no doubt, a number of angry phone calls.

For the press release gave the identities of the twenty A1 Grand Prix countries scheduled to take part in this week's two-and-a-half day test at the facility in the south of France.

Unfortunately, the twenty countries named in the press release included three - Russia, Germany and Indonesia - which had not yet been officially named as having joined the series, much to the dismay of the organizers of the A1 Grand Prix series.

A couple of websites ran with the press release but clearly hadn't noticed the three additions to the A1 Grand Prix entry list and therefore missed out on a nice little scoop.
