Red Bull protégé, Scott Speed, currently racing in the GP2 series, is one of three American who will test the United States A1 GP car at Paul Ricard during a two-and-a-half day test that gets underway tomorrow (Wednesday).

Speed, who has tested for the Red Bull F1 team, and is a product of the Red Bull Driver Search programme, will be joined by Colin Fleming, currently racing in the world Series by Renault, and Matt Jaskol, currently competing in the Star Mazda Series and the ASA Speed Truck Challenge, a NASCAR-style truck series.

Both Jaskol and Fleming are also products of the Red Bull Driver Search programme.

It's believed that the United States A1 GP team will use the Paul Ricard test to announce a major sponsorship deal.
