Three drivers have been confirmed for the F1 Parade that will take place in London on July 6.

According to pitpass' sources, Jenson Button (BAR), Zsolt Baumgartner (Minardi) and Cristiano da Matta (Toyota) are all confirmed for the event which will take place between 18:00 and 20:00, on the Tuesday before the British GP.

Although only the three drivers above have been confirmed, thus far, it's understood that several more teams are hoping to take part.

Although it is stressed that the event is a demonstration and not a race, the cars will run on a circuit that will begin north of Oxford Street, run down Regent Street, around Piccadilly, down Lower Regent Street, turn at Waterloo Place and then return up Regent Street, via Hanover Street to Oxford Street. It's understood that there will be a 'pit area' in the vicinity of Piccadilly Circus.

At present, the Metropolitan Police are working in conjunction with The Crown Estate, Westminster Council and the Mayor of London, to organise the event and ensure that it runs smoothly, with the public's safety being the primary concern.

It should be noted that WilliamsF1 is sponsored by the world-famous toy-store Hamley's, which is located on Regent Street, therefore expect to see either Ralf, Juan Pablo, Marc or Antonio cruising towards Piccadilly.

The pitpass team will be setting up its very own Paddock Club - the exact venue to be decided - though it is more than likely to be The French House, Coach & Horses, The Endurance, The Blue Posts, The John Snow....

Now, hands up all those who want to see Felipe Massa and Takuma Sato 'giving it some' on the streets of the capital?
