NEWS STORY
Today's news that Pierre Gasly will move to Alpine and Nyck de Vries will take his place at AlphaTauri means that there remain just two vacant seats on the 2023 grid.
One is at Williams and the other at Haas.
Despite Ferrari being understood to be pushing for Antonio Giovinazzi to get the berth at the American team, it is believed that the choice is between current incumbent Mick Schumacher and Nico Hulkenberg.
Having lost out on de Vries, Logan Sargent is thought to be likely at Williams, while most seem to see Daniel Ricciardo heading to Mercedes as reserve driver.
