Showing good humour in a difficult situation, Mercedes posts a spoof job advert.
It's the sort of ad that were it to appear in the local Jobcentre would have adolescents beating down the doors.
Still reeling following Nico Rosberg's shock decision to retire, and seeking a suitable replacement, Mercedes has put on a brave face and opted for a touch of humour at what must be a difficult time.
The Brackley-based outfit has placed an advertisement in Autosport for a "race driver".
No further comment is necessary other than while requiring applicants to "show extreme patience in the face of media attention", no similar requirement is made in terms of 'difficult' teammates.
Noticeably, no mention of pension schemes for those already thinking about retirement either.
