Lewis Hamilton is back in action at the Yas Marina today as three teams test Pirelli's 2017 tyres.
The test takes place just 48 hours after Hamilton won the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, albeit in controversial circumstances, and at a time new world champion Nico Rosberg is enjoying celebrations with team sponsors Petronas in Malaysia and ahead of a return to Mercedes HQ in Stuttgart and then its F1 facility in Brackley.
Ferrari and Red Bull are also in action at the one day test - the first time that all three teams have run their mule cars together.
Kimi Raikkonen is in action for the Maranello team, while Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen are both present for the Austrian outfit.
The next time the 2017 tyre are scheduled to take to the track is 27 February at Barcelona, when they finally appear on the 2017 cars.
