British racer Jordan King will replace Esteban Ocon in the opening practice session in Abu Dhabi next weekend.
The Briton, who made his debut with the team in Austin, has been recalled to the Banbury outfit which last week lost tenth place in the team standings following Felipe Nasr's superb drive to ninth in Brazil.
"We're pleased to welcome Jordan back to the cockpit for his second planned FP1 session," said team boss Dave Ryan, announcing the move. "He'll be taking over Esteban's car on Friday morning and we have a busy programme of testing items lined up for him again."
King, who is currently fifth in the GP2 standings, could yet leapfrog Sergey Sirotkin for fourth, though his last win was the Sprint Race at Silverstone.
Ocon, who is replaced by King in the opening session, is off to Force India next season while Manor has yet to confirm either of its 2017 drivers, though Pascal Wehrlein is expected to be retained.
