NEWS STORY
We've heard it countless time before, but today's Mexican Grand Prix really is going to be about tyres, especially at the start.
As in Austin, Daniel Ricciardo is starting on the supersofts, aiming to repeat what he did at COTA and nail at least one Mercedes at the start.
Unlike Austin however, his teammate is on the same strategy, the Dutch youngster also opting to start on the red-banded tyres.
In America, Ricciardo's strategy was compromised by the Virtual Safety Car and that could the case again here.
Lewis Hamilton would be more than happy to see Ricciardo repeat his Austin start and, along with Verstappen, nail Rosberg at the start, thereby allowing the Briton the opportunity to close that all-important title gap.
He claimed to be happy starting eleventh, so what can Fernando Alonso produce today, having put in such an epic performance seven days ago.
And following that poor qualifying session Sergio Perez will be seeking to give his thousands of fans something to cheer about, especially after being upstaged by teammate Nico Hulkenberg yesterday.
