Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg will experience the proposed 2017 tyres for the first time this week.
With Mercedes, Red Bull and Ferrari responsible for testing Pirelli's proposed 2017 compounds, only the Italian team has seen its lead drivers test the tyres thus far.
At Mercedes, Pascal Wehrlein drove the mule car in both Paul Ricard tests, while Sebastien Buemi was on duty for Red Bull at Mugello in early August.
As testing resumes this week, Red Bull in action at Abu Dhabi and Mercedes at Barcelona, the German team has revealed that Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg will get their first taste of the 2017 tyres at what will be the Brackley outfit's final solo run with the new compounds.
While Red Bull has yet to nominate its drivers for this week's test, the Austrian team, like Ferrari has one more outing scheduled, both will run in Abu Dhabi before all the teams take part in a one day programme, again in Abu Dhabi, in late November.
