UBIMET, the official meteorological service provider to the FIA, is predicting "unstable weather" towards the latter half of the week ahead of the Hungarian GP.

From Tuesday to Thursday, fine to partly cloudy conditions are expected as a stable weather pattern dominates the area. Moderate northerly winds on Tuesday will gradually weaken. Maximum daytime temperatures will climb from 26 degrees on Tuesday to 29 degrees on Thursday.

Friday will see sunny and dry conditions with some light cloud to develop throughout the middle of the day. Hence, both practice sessions are expected to remain dry. Maximum daytime temperatures of 28 to 30 degrees.

On Saturday, the risk of showers and thunderstorms will increase. However, most of the day is expected to stay dry, sunny and hot. Weak southerly winds with maximum temperatures between 29 to 31 degrees.

Sunday will bring rather unsteady weather conditions with an enhanced risk of showers and thunderstorms from mid-morning.

However, there are big uncertainties regarding the weather on Sunday, hence the risk of shower activity affecting the race cannot be ruled out.

Outside of shower activity, weak winds and partly cloudy conditions are expected with temperatures reaching 30 degrees.
