McLaren has dismissed a report in the Daily Express that Jenson Button is dating model and TV personality Jodie Kidd.
In an excruciating piece, Adam Helliker claims that Jensen (sic) has been "polishing his piston with Miss Kidd", and that the pair were recently seen "larking around".
Indeed, "a motorsport veteran, who knows the pair well" tells the British tabloid: "They've been seeing as much of each other as they can. They plainly adore each other's company."
Asked if all this piston polishing might conflict with this week's all-important test at Barcelona, a McLaren spokesman said: "This story is total codswallop from start to finish - indeed the journalist can't even spell Jenson's name right!"
