As part of its annual "organizational and personnel changes, including Operating Officers and Directors’", Honda has implemented changes in its managerial structure that oversees its Formula One project.
Honda has appointed a new director to oversee and supervise all F1 related undertakings to strengthen the organizational structure for its F1 project.
Yoshiyuki Matsumoto's full title will be Senior Managing Officer and Director, Supervising Director of F1 Project and President, Chief Executive Officer and Representative Director.
Furthermore, in accordance with the organizational changes, Yusuke Hasegawa has been assigned to replace Yasuhisa Arai to oversee the development, manufacturing and management of the F1 project as of March 1.
Hasegawa's title will be Executive Chief Engineer and Head of F1 Project, whilst Arai becomes Senior Managing Officer, Honda R&D Co.
Thing is, is a change of boss at this stage a good or bad thing?
