Manor Marussia has announced that it will compete as Manor Racing this season.
The team, which first entered the sport as Virgin Racing in 2010 then morphed into Marussia before becoming Manor Marussia took to Twitter - despite ongoing problems with the social media site - to reveal its new name and logo.
"Full reveal on 22 February", it added tantalisingly, suggesting the car and livery will be unveiled on the opening day of the first Barcelona test.
This time a year ago it was doubtful the team would survive a financial crisis which took it the brink, however, investment from Ovo Energy boss Stephen Fitzpatrick, not to mention the prize money won in 2014, boosted by Jules Bianchi's Monaco points finish, was enough to keep the popular outfit going.
Indeed, with a technical partnership with Williams, a Mercedes power unit and the recruitment of former Ferrari designer Nikolas Tombazis, the team, which has yet to name its 2016 drivers, appears to be going from strength to strength.
Intriguingly, though the team has opted to call itself Manor Racing, John Booth, who founded Manor Motorsport in 1990, left the Manor Marussia team at the end of 2015 along with Graeme Lowdon.
