The Australian Grand prix, originally scheduled for 3 April, will now take place on 20 March, as F1's powers that be juggle with what looks likely to be the busiest season in the history of the sport.
As the World Motor Sport Council meets in Paris today, organisers in Melbourne issued a brief statement.
"The date for the 2016 Australian Grand Prix has changed to 17-20 March," it read. "The change of the date is part of a number of changes on a provisional calendar issued by the World Motor Sport Council.
"The race will remain the first race of the season, where all eyes will be on Melbourne!"
Organisers had already said they had no issue with changing the date as long as it didn't clash with the Easter Holiday (28 March).
Unfortunately, the re-scheduling sees the Grand Prix now take place on the same weekend as the Symmons Plains round of the Australian V8 Supercars series, which usually provides a highly popular support round at the Grand Prix.
