Williams has been fined for an incident during today's qualifying session.
In the final phase of qualifying, as the drivers came out for their final run, Valtteri Bottas was released from his garage into the path of a fast approaching Daniel Ricciardo.
The stewards, having talked to representatives from Williams and viewed video evidence deemed that the release was unsafe as it was clear Ricciardo had already been released.
At the hearing the Williams team manager acknowledged that it was" too close", the fact that Ricciardo did not have to take avoiding action mitigating the penalty.
Having breached Article 23.12 (a) of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations, Williams was fined 2,000 euros.
