In the wake of Sebastian Vettel's scare, Nico Rosberg waded in to the debate, urging action.
As Vettel launched a scathing attack on Pirelli following his penultimate lap scare, Nico Rosberg, who had a near-disaster of his own on Friday, weighed into the debated.
"Vettel exploding his tyre is really poor," the Mercedes driver told {i]Sky Sports F1. "It shouldn't happen and that it keeps on happening, in other categories as well and today with us, and with me on Friday both of us were just so lucky."
"If it happens a couple of metres later or earlier we'll have one of the biggest shunts ever," he added, "so they need to figure something out to make it safer.
"I don't know if, for example, we have those rear-view cameras and at least make that for live viewing for everybody, all the teams, so they can keep an eye on it because for me you could see the tyre breaking half a lap earlier. So if we would have had the camera they could have slowed me down and it would have been fine.
"I don't know, that's just some stupid idea, but anything, something, needs to be done to improve it."
