After rocketing past his team-mate Jordan King on the first lap, Alexander Rossi led the team to a 1-2 in Spa-Francorchamps.
Yesterday's madness meant that King was to start on reverse grid pole position, but it was championship leader, Stoffel Vandoorne, who made the most of the start, promoting himself to fifth.
With the tyres beginning to struggle, a train formed behind Julian Leal which Vandoorne and Mitch Evans were quick to clear.
As Vandoorne and Evans caught the leaders, the virtual safety car was deployed halting their advances. Arthur Pic spun into the gravel and beached his Campos car.
At the restart, a rare mistake from Vandoorne caused him to lose time to the leaders and drop back into the clutches of Evans.
After managing the pace, Rossi held off King to win his first race of the season. Evans swooped past Vandoorne with DRS on the final lap, claiming the final podium position.
Team-mate Artem Markelov finished in fifth after a late pass on Sergey Sirotkin. Nathaniel Berthon dropped to seventh despite racing amongst the top three, with Alex Lynn close behind. Sergio Canamasas and Rio Haryanto complete the top ten.
