Having roundly beaten Mercedes in a race the German team was expected to romp home in, Sebastian Vettel heads into the summer break feeling extremely confident.
Though an ERS failure prevented Kimi Raikkonen from finishing, and possibly scoring the team's first 1-2 since Germany 2010, Vettel's win not only meets Maurizio Arrivabene's pre-season target of two wins, it brings the German within 21 points of Nico Rosberg.
With an eye on last week's convincing win, Mercedes recent startline problems and the new rules coming in to effect once the season resumes at Spa, Vettel is clearly up for the fight.
"There is still a lot of work to do to catch up but you never know," he said, according to the BBC.
"I am sure we will try absolutely everything and try to make the impossible possible," he continued. "The best way to do that is to remain calm and try to do your best and then we see where the journey takes us."
