Officials have appointed a new manager at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya
Joan Fontsere will be the new General Manager of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya as of next Friday (19 June). He will be joining Vicenç Aguilera, President of the Circuit in the management of the facilities.
Coming from the world of sports and motoring, he has been managing the High Performance Centre Sant Cugat until this appointment.
The decision was taken by the Board of Directors of Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, which is made-up of the Catalan Government, the RACC and the Montmelo Town Council.
Fontsere will be taking over from Salvador Servia, who became General Manager of Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in February 2011.
