Grid penalty for Grosjean

Romain Grosjean has been handed a two place grid penalty for tomorrow's Malaysia Grand Prix.

The Lotus driver, who qualified eighth, was deemed to have jumped the queue as the cars waited in the pitlane for the start of Q2.

With the storm impending, there was a scramble to get out on track for the obligatory 'banker' time and even before the lights had turned green all 15 drivers were in the pitlane, with Sebastian Vettel leading the way.

The Race Stewards however ruled that Grosjean did not leave the pit lane in the order he arrived there, a breach of Article 23.6 of the Sporting Regulations.

The Frenchman, who will therefore start from tenth, subsequently tweeted: "Gutted about the 2 grid places penalty. Long race tomorrow we will get those back :-)"
