Having tantalised race fans with its 'Zebra livery' in pre-season testing, Red Bull reverts to traditional look.
When the RB11 took to the track at Jerez, the black and white livery certainly got fans talking, many of them taking to social media to give their take on the new look. (Jeez, were beginning to sound like the Daily Mail here).
With talk of a further exciting new look to the car, fans, and the media waited with bated breath.
Sadly, this morning the team unveiled its 2015 livery, which looks suspiciously like its 2014 livery, its 2013 livery... you get the picture.
"We've had a lot of fun with our dazzle paint livery during testing and it's certainly grabbed the headlines," said the Austrian team, "though before heading off to Australia we're going #BackInColour.
"It's not the first alternative livery we've used and doubtless won't be the last - but we've made our mark in the last ten years in dark blue, and in dark blue we'll remain. Those are the racing colours in which we've achieved great things. We're not the most traditional of F1 teams, but like the rest of the sport, we value heritage."
Not to mention other than the fact the Zebra livery (right)wouldn't look that good on TV, the current colours are the colours of the energy drink that owns the team, and, tradition aside, this is all about selling the Red Bull brand.
