Marussia's return to the F1 grid has moved a step closer as the team is included in the FIA's official 2015 entry list.
The team is one of ten named on the entry list issued today by the sport's governing body, a list which does not include the failed Caterham outfit, even though late last year it appeared the former Leafield outfit had the best chance of survival.
Shown as the Manor Marussia F1 Team, the Ferrari-powered chassis will continue to be known as Marussia. Indeed, the team is due to undergo a crash test next week.
Thus far, the Dinnington outfit, which was rescued from administration just last week, has named only one driver, Will Stevens.
However, there's still a long, long way to go, the car must fully comply with the 2015 regulations before it gets the green light, while Stevens also has to meets the relevant demands in order to get his superlicence, though at least they aren't as restrictive as they will be in 2016.
