Sebastian Vettel has visited Ferrari's F1 HQ in Maranello to meet his new team.
According to the Italian squad, the German made today's visit to the Gestione Sportiva at the request of new Team Principal Maurizio Arrivabene.
"The purpose of the tour was to allow the four time World Champion to visit all the departments and to get better acquainted with everyone he will be working with this season," said the team.
At the beginning of December, Vettel took to the track at Fiorano in an F2012,completing 100 laps as he established himself with his new team and tried out his new seat. The following day was taken up with simulator work.
With Red Bull refusing permission for the German to take part in the end-of-season test in Abu Dhabi with Ferrari, Vettel still made his presence felt, spending most of his time in the Maranello outfit's garage as buddy Kimi Raikkonen put the car through its paces.
Ferrari launches its 2015 contender in just over two weeks, two days before pre-season testing gets underway.
