Although in administration, both Marussia and Caterham appear on the provisional 2015 F1 season entry list issued by the FIA this afternoon.
All 11 teams that have contested the 2014 season are there, though McLaren-Mercedes becomes McLaren-Honda next season and Marussia is registered at Manor F1 Team and Caterham as CF1 Caterham F1 Team.
Interestingly, the FIA suggests that only Manor's entry is "subject to confirmation", though the sport's governing body also makes it clear that entry is subject to conditions of entry being respected for all team.
Whilst the fate of Caterham has yet to be decided, it is understood that Marussia is already making plans to attend the season finale in Abu Dhabi though this has yet to be officially confirmed.
Only three teams have confirmed their line-ups; Mercedes, where Hamilton and Rosberg continue, Red Bull (Ricciardo and Kvyat) and Williams (Massa and Bottas).
Kimi Raikkonen is expected to continue at Ferrari, with Sebastian Vettel joining him, whilst having already confirmed Pastor Maldonado, Lotus is also expected to retain Romain Grosjean.
Though Sergio Perez signed a "multi-year" deal with Force India last year, the Mexican has yet to be officially confirmed alongside Nico Hulkneberg who has been retained.
Marcus Ericsson is in at Sauber, whilst Max Verstappen will make his much-publicised debut with Toro Rosso.
McLaren has yet to name either of its drivers, though Fernando Alonso is continually linked with the Woking outfit.
