Max Chilton and Kevin Magnussen have both been handed grid penalties following unscheduled gearbox changes.
McLaren opted to change the unit on Magnussen's car following this morning's free practice session, the Dane damaging his car on the newly laid kerbs at T2.
Likewise, following today's qualifying session, in which he finished 21st, Marussia opted to change the gearbox on Max Chilton's car.
In both cases the units were changed before 6 consecutive events had expired, a breach of Article 28.6 a) of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations, consequently 5-place grid penalties for both.
