Red Bull has announced that Sebastian Vettel is to get a new engineer in 2015 after his old one, Guillaume 'Rocky' Rocquelin is promoted.
Joining Red Bull from Newman-Haas (champ Cars) in 2006, having previously spent time at British American Racing, Rocquelin has been Vettel's engineer since the German first joined the team from Toro Rosso in 2009.
It has now been announced that Rocquelin will be promoted to the role of Head of Race Engineering from the start of 2015 which will mean a more senior role at the circuit involving responsibility for all the team's race engineers, including Vettel's.
Consequently, from the start of 2015, Gianpiero Lambiase, who currently engineers Sergio Perez at Force India, will join the Milton Keynes outfit to work as Vettel's race engineer.
