In a new video McLaren looks at the difference between F1 2013 style and the 2014 version as well as the key role of data.
The 2:23 video, filmed during the pre-season tests in Bahrain features various key players at Woking including Jenson Button, Sporting Director Sam Michael, Head of Vehicle Engineering Mark Williams and Strategy Team Leader Andy Statham.
"In low speed we are actually stronger than in 2013," says Button during his on-board commentary as he compares the MP4-29 with its predecessor.
"The regulation changes will help the driver who is willing to put the hours in to really understanding it," he adds, "to take as much out as possible, the power unit, the braking system, it's stuff that we can really use to our advantage.
