Romain Grosjean's third place on the grid for tomorrow's Hungarian Grand Prix is in doubt after the Frenchman's car failed a post-qualifying inspection.
The Lotus E21 failed a post-qualifying front floor deflection test thereby leaving Grosjean, who qualified third behind Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel, facing the possibility of being excluded from the results.
A statement issued by the stewards reads:
Alleged breach of Article 3.17.5 of the FIA Formula One Technical Regulations. The team is requested to bring any item or material that it wishes to present as evidence."
