The Silverstone test passed by without a single incident. Admittedly, there were a few spins, a couple of offs, necessitating the red flag... but not one single tyre failure.
All of which, as he looked back over the last few weeks and some of the claims and counter claims being made about Pirelli and its 2013 tyres, some of the political point scoring, got our resident cartoonist Gurmit thinking...
