F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone has been served with an indictment from a German judge relating to allegations of bribery.
This follows investigations into Ecclestone following the conviction of Gerhard Gribkowsky the German banker who oversaw the sale of the sport in 2005.
"I have just spoken to my lawyers and they have received an indictment. It's being translated into English," Ecclestone told the FT.
Asked how he felt about the indictment, he added: "We are defending it properly. It will be an interesting case. It's a pity it's happened."
