Mark Webber and Valtteri Bottas have both been handed reprimands following incidents during yesterday's free practice sessions.

The Austrian was hauled before the stewards after it was claimed he did not make a significant reduction in speed while double waved yellow flags were displayed in Turn 3 during FP1, a breach of Appendix H, Article 2.4.5.1 (b) of the FIA International Sporting Code.

Bottas, like Webber, found guilty of the same offence, at the same corner and in the same session, was, like the Australian handed a reprimand.

Being his second reprimand of the season - the first coming in Bahrain following a clash with Nico Rosberg - should Webber incur a third he would automatically be hit with a ten-place grid penalty.

Meanwhile, no further action was taken against Jenson Button, who stood accused of crossing the white line at the pit entrance during FP2, a breach of Appendix L, Chapter IV, Article 4(b) of the FIA International Sporting Code.

Explaining their decision, the stewards confirmed that Button experienced a problem with gear selection that required him to avoid approaching cars by crossing the white line at the pit entrance.
