NEWS STORY
Unlike Jerez, the teams actually get to enjoy a proper lunch break during testing at the Circuit de Catalunya, and following a busy morning at the Spanish track it is world champion Sebastian Vettel who leads the way.
First out was Esteban Gutierrez in the Sauber, the Mexican subsequently becoming the cause of the morning's only red flag when he stopped on track at Turn 7.
Most of the usual suspects have had a turn at the top of the timesheets, however, the Williams FW35 (above), launched just half-an-hour before the session got underway has been particularly impressive.
There has been talk of rain this afternoon, an ideal chance to test the wets and intermediates, however, most teams really want to continue dry running as they look ahead to Melbourne.
