As far as Felipe Massa is concerned, the final race of the season will be one dedicated to his father.
For his home race, the Brazilian has chosen to race with a helmet livery that takes its inspiration from the one used by his father Luiz Antonio, who used to be an amateur Touring Car racer.
The design features the same colours, blue and orange, and a large M in recognition of Sid Mosca, the legendary artist who produced helmets for Formula 1 drivers such as Ayrton Senna, Mika Hakkinen and Michael Schumacher and who passed away last year at the age of 74.
"Ever since I was little my father has always been a hero to me and if I'm here now, it's down to him. Even though he only raced for fun, he gave me my passion for motor sport, as I always wanted to copy him. I am sure that he will be very pleased to see his colours back on track at a race which means a lot to me and my family."
