Following the incident in today's race, Lewis Hamilton has criticised Sergio Perez, the man who will replace him at McLaren next season.
Having previously made short work of Hamilton, going around him at the hairpin, the Mexican made a similar move shortly after the first round of pit stops. However, second time around it didn't quite come off, the Sauber driver going too deep and subsequently spinning off into the gravel.
"I thought that he was going to do a crazy manoeuvre, which he did," said Hamilton, referring to the original move, which most would have described as brave or audacious, indeed, the sort of move one might expect from the McLaren driver himself.
"Then when he was behind me (after the stops) I saw it coming again so I moved a little to the inside, thinking that he was going to go up the inside so he couldn't get by, and he just flew down the outside of me. So very interesting"
Having started the race from ninth and finishing fifth, the Englishman's title hopes have taken a severe knock, on a day when one of his main rivals, Fernando Alonso, didn't survive the first corner.
"I am quite realistic, I know my situation, but the Red Bulls are going to be hard to beat," he admitted. "Everyone should be concerned, they are very quick, they are always very quick in Korea and they have picked up 50 points in the last two races, Fernando should be more worried than I am."
