Since his sudden resignation in March little has been heard of former Williams' chairman Adam Parr. Earlier this month we learned from Williams' team principal Frank Williams that "there were one or two things that disturbed [Parr] in F1 - outside this company, I should add - and he came to me and said 'I've enjoyed my time, but I need a break for a while." It seems that he is using his break to do something completely different.
On looking through recently registered companies Pitpass' business editor Christian Sylt found that on 11 May a company called Ciel Art was incorporated with Parr as its director and owner. It is located near to Bicester in Oxfordshire which is not far from Parr's home and his former office at Williams.
It is unclear what the company's principal activity will be but, given its name, presumably it is connected to paintings. Maybe Parr sees himself as an art dealer? You never know, maybe he has a hidden talent for it as F1's boss Bernie Ecclestone recently told Sylt that "I think probably in other areas [Parr] was very good but he was probably not the right person for this job [as Williams' chairman]."
Since Parr's sudden departure, the day after the Malaysia Grand Prix, the team has continued to add to its points tally, putting the misery of 2011 firmly behind it, not forgetting an historic victory in Spain.
