Ferrari suspended all activity at Maranello today after an earthquake hit the region.
While the team confirmed that there had been no damage to the facility, employees were sent home early to allow them to be with their families.
The earthquake, which measured 5.8 on the Richter Scale, struck near Modena, just days after a similar event in the region killed 10 people and left more than 7,000 homeless.
World championship leader, Fernando Alonso, who faces a tough week of training, simulator work and promotional events, was expected at the factory today but is instead exercising in the Fisiology Center in Forli.
