Ferrari, which had changed its test programme in order to run from Friday to next Monday, has now reverted to the original schedule and will run from Thursday.
The Italian team last week sought the permission of its rivals to change it test schedule, the reason being partly to allow it to enjoy a single day away from the competition, and also, it is widely believed, to give it more time to produce a number of new aerodynamic components.
This morning, the Italian team announced that it had had to revert to the original schedule because Article 22.4 of the Sporting Regulations, which was sent to the teams late on Monday evening, rules it is no longer possible to run on Monday 5 March.
As a result, the test schedule for the Italian team and Red Bull, which had decided to follow Ferrari's example, now reverts to running from Thursday to Sunday.
Felipe Massa will drive the F2012 for the first two days of the test and Fernando Alonso on Saturday and Sunday. At Red Bull, Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel will alternate, starting with the Australian on Thursday.
