It's understood that F1 fans will have to wait until 2013 to see the latest, much anticipated, movie from Ron Howard, the former actor (The Shootist and Happy Days) who went on to enjoy huge success as director of, amongst others, Cocoon, Parenthood, A Beautiful Mind, Cinderella Man, The Da Vinci Code and Frost/Nixon.
Rush, the story of the 1976 season and the epic battle between James Hunt and Niki Lauda, stars Chris Hemsworth as the English racer and Daniel Bruhl as the Austrian legend, not to mention Russell Crowe as Richard Burton, who was to marry Hunt's former wife just days after Lauda's infamous Nurburgring crash.
Meanwhile, talking of F1 and movies, inspired by the ongoing antics of Lewis and Felipe, the Farrelly Brothers - creators of There's Something About Mary, Dumb and Dumber and Shallow Hal - are considering a remake of a previous work.
