The FIA has confirmed that at this weekend's Singapore Grand Prix, drivers will be able to activate their DRS shortly after Turn 5.
After the overtaking fests at Spa and Monza it will be back to reality this weekend when Formula One pitches camp in Singapore.
Having had two separate DRS zones in Italy there will be just one at the Marina Bay Circuit. The DRS activation zone will be located 230 metres before Turn 5 with the devices activated 35 metres after the apex.
Only 46% of the lap is spent at full throttle in Singapore and last year the highest speed peaked at just 180 mph, between turns 5 and 7, but this year with the DRS it's expected to be as high as 190 mph.
There has been a small change to the flat apex kerb at Turn 2, while three-time GP winner Heinz-Harald Frentzen is the drivers' representative on the panel of Race Stewards.
