Having reached a settlement with Nick Heidfeld, Lotus Renault GP has confirmed that Bruno Senna will drive its second car for the remainder of the season.
In a short statement, the team said: "Lotus Renault GP is pleased to announce that Bruno Senna has been named as a race driver alongside Vitaly Petrov for the remainder of the 2011 Formula 1 season. Romain Grosjean remains the team's third driver."
Having qualified a highly impressive seventh in Belgium last week, the Brazilian blotted his copybook next day when an overenthusiastic start saw his set in motion a chain of events which ended Jaime Alguersuari's race, saw another couple of cars damaged and earned the Renault driver a drive-through penalty.
