Both Hispania drivers will take part in the Monaco Grand Prix after Race Stewards gave them the all clear.
There were fears that neither of the Spanish outfit's drivers would compete after both failed to post a time in qualifying. Tonio Liuzzi was unable to run after his crew were unable to repair his car in time following his major accident in free practice while Narain Karthikeyan was sidelined by a suspension problem.
After the Spanish team presented its case to the stewards they were subsequently given permission to race.
"The FIA showed some good sense with the decision they made since we've been inside the 107% rule for every race since Australia," said Liuzzi.
"We would have easily qualified," added his teammate, "just like in the last four races, I have no doubts about that. So it was a good decision from the stewards to let us race."
