Sauber has secured a new sponsor ahead of the Australian Grand Prix this weekend, announcing a deal with NEC Mexico, no doubt thanks to the Formula One debut of Mexican Sergio Perez.
"The internationalism of NEC, its high technical standards and striving for innovation perfectly match the values of Formula One," said team boss Peter Sauber.
"Formula One is an international platform with cutting-edge technology, power, dynamism and, not least, speed," commented Enrique Leiva, CEO of NEC Mexico. "We hope to see some good results and look forward to an exciting season."
The deal will see NEC branding on the side of the Sauber's monocoque.
