McLaren has revealed that it will sit out Thursday's test session at Barcelona, and will now continue at the Spanish track on Saturday.
The British team - which is action alongside seven others today - had originally planned to test on Thursday, wrapping up its 2011 preparations on Friday.
However, the Woking outfit has now confirmed that it will sit out Thursday and having tested today and Wednesday will continue on Friday and Saturday.
Jenson Button is in action today and tomorrow, with Lewis Hamilton taking over for the final two days.
The team insists that there is no particular reason for the decision other than the feeling that it would be best served spreading its resources over the full five days of the test.
