Ahead of its second season since its return to F1, Mercedes has announced that its 2011 contender, the W02, will be unveiled at Valencia on February 1, the first day of pre-season testing.
Toro Rosso is due to launch its car on the same day, with Sauber and Lotus Renault GP launching the previous day.
Having finished fourth in the 2011 championship, its best results being a brace of thirds from Nico Rosberg, the Brackley based outfit will be looking for a major improvement this season.
Speaking yesterday, 2010 runner-up Fernando Alonso claimed that he sees Michael Schumacher as one of his biggest threats this year.
