With a dearth of real news in recent weeks, the usual suspects have been jumping on just about any rumour that might provide a few more hits, no matter how outlandish. In one episode, a few sites had to do an abrupt u-turn after claims in the Spanish media that Santander was to buy into Hispania was proven to be the work of a mischievous journalist on the country's version of April Fools Day.
Today it has been revealed that FIA President Jean Todt is travelling to Malta later this month to present the 2010 SportMalta Awards.
How long before we hear talk of a race through the streets of Valletta?
