With the WMSC opting not to punish Ferrari further following the team orders debacle in Germany, and the race result standing, we are finally able to announce the winners of our competition.
Up for grabs were five 1:4 scale models of the Mercedes W01 Steering Wheel courtesy of our good friends at Amalgam.
Of the many entries received, only 22 readers correctly predicted that Fernando Alonso would 'win' the race and that there would be 19 official finishers.
The names of the 22 winners were put into a hat and over the weekend we picked out 5 outright winners.
They are: Terence Groening (Ann Arbor, USA), Simon Wai Ho Ip (Hong Kong), Ricardo Perez Pandelo (Doral, USA), David Pereira Costoya (Chapela-Redondela in Spain) and one other who has yet to get back to us.
Commiserations to those who lost out, congratulations to our winners and apologies for the long delay however, as you will appreciate this was due to circumstance way beyond our control.
