While our good friends at Amalgam are working on a number of exciting classic racing cars, including the fabulous Gulf Porsche 917 and the Ferrari 156 Sharknose, they wanted you to know that the first 2010 F1 cars are now being released.
One of the first is this stunning Ferrari F10 as raced to victory in Bahrain by Fernando Alonso, the Spaniard winning on his debut for the Maranello outfit.
This 1:8 scale limited edition model is deeply detailed and shows the car exactly as it was driven to victory by Alonso, though the Felipe Massa version is also available.
The F10 is the first of this year's F1 cars to roll off the line at Amalgam, however, the McLaren MP4-25, Mercedes MGP W01 and Red Bull RB6 will be appearing in the weeks ahead.
To compliment these there will of course be the usual 1:4 scale Steering Wheels, 1:12 scale Nose Cones and Full Size Steering Wheel Replicas.
The pictures in our gallery hardly do this model justice, the craftsmanship and attention to detail really has to be seen to be believed, and while we appreciate that for many these are difficult times financially, think of these works of (F1) art as an investment.
