A section of the access tunnel at Blanchimont at Spa Francorchamps collapsed over the weekend.
The reason for the collapse is unclear at this time, however, it is reported that there was nobody in it at the time of the collapse.
While damage to the track is minimal, limited to a few cracks in the asphalt, a large hole remains in the run-off area at the high-speed curve.
The legendary track was hosting a track day for Club Subaru Belgium however, thankfully there was nobody on track at the time of the collapse.
The circuit is due to host the Belgian Grand Prix on August 29.
