Serbian hopeful Stefan GP has had to cancel its planned test in Portimao due to a lack of tyres.
The team, led by Serbian businessman Zoran Stefanovic (right), and which is still hoping for a lot on the 2010 grid, had intended to carry out a test at Portimao this week as part of its preparations should it be granted a slot.
However, unable to secure supply of tyres, the Serbian outfit - which is receiving technical support from Toyota - has had to cancel its plans.
Only on Friday, when asked about the possibility of agreeing a deal with Stefan GP, a Bridgestone spokeswoman told Pitpass: "Basically we would need Stefan GP to have an official entry in the world championship first, then a contract would need to be put in place before any tyres would be supplied."
Consequently, with no entry there are no tyres and with no tyres there is no testing.
